I still have a 12 inch section left --- the "money" piece; if I cover my cost with the one above; the next one is all gravy.
A 10 inch section getting its first coat of oil ...
This turned without any issues; started sanding at 150 and went to 320 before starting the dying process. Dyed first with black and then sanded...
First piece completed; will be going in the Instant Gallery at SWAT this weekend.
Starting with a small 6 inch piece ... has one coat of antique oil after just coming off the lathe; what a pleasure to turn. Thanks Mike
