1- What is the biggest challenge you faced being a (gun) grip maker?
biggest challenge has been getting a finish I’m truly happy with.
2- What are the three apps you use the most on your mobile device and why?
email for emailing. spotify so I can listen to music while I work. and Instagram for pictures and such.
3- Sweet & sour or hot & spicy?
hot and spicy.
4- What differentiates you from other woodworkers/grip makers?
I guess if I had to pick something it would be that a lot of grip makers tend to specialize in a certain type of handgun. I make grips for more frames than I can remember offhand lol.
5- You’ve most likely produced many finished pieces over the years, Are there any that stand out for you?
Yes. I got to make a set of grips for a Bowen best grade Blackhawk that was on the cover of Handloader magazine the month and year I was born. that was pretty cool for me.
6- What other hobbies besides woodworking do you have?
yes, hunting, fishing, reloading, bullet casting, bladesmithing.
7- What is the best and worst thing about woodworking?
best? getting to use so many beautiful types of wood the Lord thought up. worst? dust and warping.
8- If you had six months with no obligations or financial constraints, what would you make?
an Ivory stock for a Winchester lever action rifle.
9- Who is your favorite woodworker?
my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
10- Would you rather be able to teleport anywhere or be able to read minds?
teleport. I’d just get depressed if I could read what people really think.
11- What’s the best thing that happened to you last year?
I got to wake up each day.

you should have asked me what my favorite wood is. answer, walnut.
13- How did you hear about Woodbarter, and What keeps you coming back?
found woodbarter through an internet search and I keep coming back because there’s some really good people here.
