1962 J-170 lathe restoration

Picked this up last November and spent almost 5 months restoring it.
Here’s a few pictures of the process.

1962 Brodhead and Garrett J-170 manufactured by Yates American.

That is a beautiful restoration on some serious old American iron.
Reminds me of when I did my southbend metal lathe. They are a labor of love.

Yeah, but that first scratch in the paint is tough.
