2nd knife I've made. 1084 carbon steel with an acid etch and rock tumble finish. Simple paracord handle wrap.

You have a very professional finish on that. And a nice even bevel on your edge. You have a jig or holder or the never grind or you do that all handheld ?
My eventual goal is to freehand, but for now using a jig as there is so much to learn.

Did you forge the blade yourself? Very cool! Chuck
At some point I liked to learn how to forge, but for now I am learning how to make knives via the stock removal process - taking a piece of flat stock metal, cutting and grinding it into a knife shape then hardening.
