@Barb if this is what it takes to get a masterclass from you, I can pull some strings. Not sure if my NY Italian friend Danello would obliged. The conversation would probably go like this………ok, forget the conversation, I will just get one of those looks from him, that means, “you kidding me”? (in a heavy Italian accent). Then the hand goes sign language everywhere + the talking (cursing in Italian) all at the same time. Going to make this happen, you will get your deep dish + NY bagels. They can coexist. With one caveat- there will be no physical deep dish, but you will get that volume of pizza with a thick crust.
