What - no arm bevels?
You missed that ingredient on my first posting. Contemplating still, might do a wedge instead where it transitions into the forearm- think Fender Strat and Manzer. But, I might lose volume and projection, I am also not designing/building an electric guitar (well I am actually working on some).

I was thinking more like what Taylor Guitars (and others) do.
Grit Laskin came up with the beveled armrest circa 1980’s. All others followed suit, including Taylor. Trends and fads.

Look up Linda Manzer and about the same period in the 80’s she came up with “the wedge”.

Both elements have the same goal which was to make playing more ergonomic and slightly more comfortable. Having said that, Leo Fender takes credit for coming up with the forearm cut/beveled arm rest with the Stratocaster back in 1954. Same function which was comfort and ergonomics for player side of things.
