Cleaned up another load of burl to go to mill. Not my favorite chore but I have to admit I prefer doing it in 90 degree weather much more than 40. But I must admit 40 is better at mill than 90.
A little over 4,500 lbs in trailer. About half spalted and half solid. Last trip in middle of june had a giant spalted one. I was worried it was too far gone but turned out perfect. I will add more pics Sunday...

I went back and looked at the pictures again; especially of the spalted pieces. Incredible!!! Isn't mother nature just amazing; those lines seem to be so crisp and defining. To be like Mike...…….

4600 + lbs cut. 7 hrs. When we got done it was 91... ughhh the old man is hot and tired. Jake and I have been doing this for 6 yrs. He thought it was best load we have cut. Crappy pics. But gives you idea. I will get better pics when I unload.

If the salivating emoji was available to use for a post, this would be the perfect one for it.
