Boring acrylic pencil blanks

    When boring acrylic pen blanks on the drill press I use my compressor to direct air into the blank. It clears the chips and keeps the blank cool. The heat generated when boring can lead to distortion and poor fit for the pen tube and also can cause you to crack the blank.
