Boxelder Log & Kevin

    I was at the big saw mill here locally in Indiana buying logs the other day. I saw the end of this log and I immediately thought of ole Kevin. Its a beauty. Nowhere did I ever see as many fantastic pictures of logs as Kevin posted. I miss him posting those pictures.

    When i look at that log- 2 pictures come to mind- one was the pic of Kevin- his Husky with that long bar freehand sawing a large vertical standing log. Makes my back hurt just to think about it. 2. There being too much water in his patch and him packing logs out on his back. Tenacious- is a gross understatement.

    I will just say it was more than I have ever paid for a Boxelder log before. There were a dozen buyers wanting the log and I somehow won the bid.
