I just finished this set for Joseph M. up in Connecticut. Hand made of book match Buckeye Burl, these are going on one of his full size 1911's. (Wish I could keep this set for myself! LOL)

Curt, I have to ask as curiosity is getting the better of me. On the 1911's, is there a reason that the grips end at the bottom of the frame? I notice on some of the other makes you've done, the grips end a little above the frame. ............... Jerry (in Tucson)

Very nice. Makes me want to buy a 1911 just so I can make some grips. And I agree with Chuck, the color color striation really compliments the gun.
