Ok guys never posted on here before so don’t know if anyone is interest in this stuff. I am looking for burl wood or highly figured wood. Wood turning tools, epoxy, casting services on some burl wood I have, Wood, more wood, and it money if you would like to buy a piece. I will post photos and if you like one I can tell you about it or post more photos of it.

I also do custom work. If you need an urn or a new sink! We can pick out the shape the look the wood to make it one of a kind for you.

@Courtland give me some prices on these 3 or maybe work some trade for some flame box elder. Getting tree milled soon so hopefully have some nice pieces for you to choose from next weekend. For now like to possibly purchase one or more depending on price points.

Chris this will be a good chance for me to see what people think my stuff is worth. If you wouldn’t mind just saying What you would buy each piece for individual. You are not going to hurt my felling some bit. I have a good idea what I spent on the wood so that really dictates what I can sell the piece for. I of course will give you a better deal if you decide to buy more then one. I am all ears for a trade in wood as well. This will help me in pricing my work. If you are not comfortable doing so I can just tell you prices.

Just to give you a better idea the first piece is camphor burl and it 5 1/2 wide and 12 ish tall. The second one is red morrel and is 5 3/4 wide by 10 ish tall. Next is claro walnut burl or black walnut burl. Was sold to me as claro but mike said it is black. It is about 8 to 10 wide and 12 or more tall. Then next is some kind of austilian burl it is 4 wide and 13 ish tall. These are just guessing numbers but I’d say pretty danm close. First is done in epoxy and will hold water for roses or flowers or something. Second and third is lacquer. Last is epoxy and will also hold water but would need long stemmed flowers

Thanks for info on the pieces. I am the worst person for pricing as keep getting told under sell my pieces. Also I am a cheap ass SOB so do need to take that into account. Personally I think all 4 I looking at be worth $300 to $500 for right buyers at least. Depending on finish quality and look in person if I was selling something like this in some of the affluent areas around DC might price even higher. What I could pay is nowhere near what they are worth sadly. Once I get this tree milled will see if can work a trade and cash for one. I really like 1st one I put pic of and 3rd one but not in a good position to make you an appropriate offer. Hard especially not getting to see pieces in person.

Ya that makes sence I am the way way man! I can do the first one for about 800. The wood was not cheap. About 500 just for the wood came from indonisa or something crazy like that. The 3rd one I would let go of for 400 though cause the wood was not as expensive but very nice to say the least. I can take some more photos of it if you would like. Very very thin light piece.

Very cool pieces, and your right on expensive wood makes expensive pieces. Give me a week get back to you on a trade and cash. Might have something interesting hiding in shop be worth while.
