I found an old weathered piece of wood from my dump a while back, and it turned out to be nice carob inside. (@Tom Smart , if you recall, it was one of the chunks I had chucked up when you visited) I got two turnings out of it, sold the other before I had a chance to photograph it, this one has actually been sold as well, but I did get a pic. around 10" tall, filled the cracks with turquoise, lacquer finish.

Yes sir, I do recall and I’m happy to see what it has become. It was pretty nasty looking then, but you have worked your magic once again, Barry. Beautiful piece.

    That’s pretty!
    Like the inlay too.
It’s always nice get something nice that was hiding in a junky piece of wood.
