Hey guys, I am in need of a spur drive, M2 and kits for turning. Not pens, but I'm open to any offers of other kits: magnifying glass, bottle stopper, razor, etc. I cut up a Mesquite tree, got some pretty nice green blanks. What have you got? Thanks, Tony

I also am after jaws for my Nova 3 chuck including Cole jaws. If someone is interested in some of this I'm open to offers. Tony

I have a set of 10" Nova Cole jaws I'd be willing to trade. Here's a pic of the jaws-there are 4 mounting screws are in the box. DSCF1827.JPG

Tony, I make a lot of hollow forms that are unusual. They frequently have cracks filled with stone or holes or natural edges or all three of those features in a single piece. I don't want straight grain, plain wood. Size isn't the key issue for me. I'd prefer to get 2 smaller blanks that are really nice/unusual than 1 large one that's plain. If any of the mesquite you're offering seems to fit these ideas, please post a pic of it/them with some measurements. Thanks!
Tim

@Tim Carter

I've got the one above and I've got this one. Bone dry, 9 x 7-12 x 5 at the smallest parts. Tony

Tony,
I'm leaning towards the 1st piece with the cracks. Can you clarify the measurements, please? thanks!
Tim

Tim, it is 13" long, 3-1/4" x 3-1/2". The crack goes all the way through in part of it. Tony

Tony,
Thanks for the info but I'm going to pass on these. They aren't what I'm looking for.
Tim

No worries Tim. I've got to move all of it in the next couple days, when I do I'll be on the lookout for something you might want. Tony

Here's a better pic of what I've got to offer. They are all at least 10" long to 15". I can give measurements on any piece. Anybody want some? @Tim Carter, any of these grab your eye? I'd like to talk you out of those Cole jaws:sofa: Tony

@Tony , please let me know how much you would want for each of the Three pieces in the circle.

Or if a LFRB of spalted maple would interest you as trade?

One of these looks like it could be my first bowl to keep on the table in the house!

Thanks!

Stan, I apologize this is a mess but I've got the wood in 2 places.

Here is the other side of 2 pieces. The one on the left as you see it is 10 wide, 6 high and 14 long. Other is 11 wide, 6 high at the lowest and 13 long.

This last one tapers down quite a bit about 3/4s of the way. The big end is 10 wide x 8, the other end is only 4 high.

Thanks tony!

I'm thinking the one in the first picture on the right would work best. 11x6x13.
