I have an extra display case for pens for those that collect or do shows. I would like what I paid for it $20 plus the actual shipping for it. It holds 8 pens, turns on a lazy Susan, locks and has keys. My plan was to take off the cross label and put my label on it. I would also trade wood for it.

How big? Would this fit in a MFRB or LFRB?

    Karl it measures 26x11x11

Would not fit in a frb but don’t think it would cost more than $30 to ship

If Karl passes I maybe interested in a trade if no one steps up with cash. Not really sure what I would use it for but it is kinda neat.

That sure would come in handy to keep little bad kids from touching my nice pens and breaking them at shows. :redcard:

Posting a few pictures of some turning stock. Not in pictures are walnut, chestnut and cherry spindles that are in containers somewhere

First picture tubes with figured purple heart bowl and spindle blanks

    Second picture some buckeye Burl

    Third picture cocobolo turning stock

Fourth picture- exotic wood not yet identified. I have many crates of this full of all different types of woods that came in a shipping container in 2008 that I have not done anything with yet

    Last picture Brazilian Cherry

If You would like additional choices please give me some types of woods and I will see what I have.

I know you did not want pen blanks. I can take pictures of random bowl blanks or spindle blanks if you can be more specific

Hi Michael, if you don't get the wood you want from those ahead of me, I will be happy to pay you cash for the case. I'm doing my first show with pens next month and I'm in need of a case

    Thanks,

    -Joel

I am OK if you want to do a cash deal with Joel. I do not have a need for the display just thought it was cool looking.

Rich sorry I’m late getting back to you. I’ll pass on the Purple Heart and Buckeye. Other than that how about you send me something of your choice and I’ll get the case out to you Monday or Tuesday Go ahead and send me your mailing address and I will get it out one day or the other. Does that sound okay?

Michael, I do not know if you saw the cash offer from Joel. I am OK passing on it for you to get cash from him. It also sounds like he has an immediate need where as I have no plans for it
