A couple of months ago, I sold what I thought were the last pieces of a board of curly white ash. @Wildthings and @ripjack13 purchased some of the earlier small pieces and @Sprung bought a large piece for a special toolbox he's planning to make.

Yesterday, I was at my large storage barn and came across another section of that same board. I had completely forgotten that I had cut that 12/4 board into sections. So, I have some more of this wood for knife scales, pen blanks, pepper mills, etc. Pepper mills will be $25 each. Knife scales will be $5 per pair. A knife block will be $5 and pen blanks will be $2 each. If you need another size blank, let me know.

Here is a picture of a small 3" by 4" section I cut earlier today. This is the best fiddleback ash I've ever seen.

I've been hoarding curly ash for a while now from a Sawyer here. Didn't know it was worth that much!

Worth is determined by how much someone is willing to pay. Put some curly ash up for sale here and see what it's worth. The fact that you're hoarding it says a lot. It's very rare in this fiddleback figure around here.

Larry, How about some 2"x2" by 6" hunks? How much for something like that.

I hoarded wood also but am now selling it off. Wood I paid less than $1/bf for years ago now sells for $7 and higher. It was a good investment. That bowl is just drop dead gorgeous. Please turn more!! Big market on Etsy for items like you and @woodtickgreg made. Makes me want to get into turning.

I went back to see if I could find anymore but no luck, it might have gotten burned.

Its an oil blend poly. I make my own.

I know I just ordered a box of wood from you but I wish I had thought to get a few pieces for duck calls while I was at it. If you don't mind, can you set aside 2 - 1.5x1.5x6 pieces please? I'll lump them in with my next order from you.

No problem. I'll have this board for several months. I want to use some of it myself. Thanks.

Thanks, I'll cut them tomorrow. Should I use the same address as I did for the Bolivian Rosewood knife scales?

    Neil,
I cut the blanks you wanted today. There are two pieces shown below that measure a little over 1.5" square by 11" long. They will fit in a flat rate padded envelop for $7.20. I'll send you the details via PM. Thanks
