Curly tap hole maple clock

I saved this slab when I milled some tap hole maple last fall because it looked a little too good to burn. I was thinking clock or weather instruments when I saved it. I fast dried it behind the wood furnace for a month, it warped some but it was almost 2" thick so I was able to get it back to almost flat.

I have always wondered about Vermonters, they seem just a little different. I hope maple like that does not find the wood furnance very often. Nice clock.
