@RJBud1 was looking for a bit of dogwood. I have a couple pictures to present and maybe we can figure out where we go from here.
some dogwood in my firewood/waste pile.
the nicely spalted piece of dogwood on my workbench waiting...
a few mid smallish dogwoods waiting to be milled
a dogwood stump with the buttressing flair. Was hoping to find curl here.
a dogwood stump with rootball attached. Aged 3 years.
butt end of 30 inch stump section with minor buttressing. Which means the tree is even smaller than what it appears in this shot.
the side shot of that stump section. Note void under hand. May be rough inside.
this is a piece of dogwood root section that we used as a table support under a round glass top for a rustic themed wedding cake stand. This piece is not available. The other pieces shown are. Also note that is not by any stretch the full inventory. I may even be able to wrest a board out of my lumber shed later. If I find that one, it is likely my only dry piece. No guarantees.( also not counting the spalted dogwood pen blanks hanging from my cabinet.
All this to say. I need specific size ranges. I am willing to pack a large ups shipment and send it your way for the shipping cost which was around 30 bucks last I knew. The large package usually will hold in the range of 10 board feet of useful material in whatever rectilinear configuration fits best with your needs. That is a 12 inch cube with room removed to account for packaging. That is less than 1 scrap bucket full... if you only want 3 or 4 pieces of dogwood, give me sizes and I can backfill the package with something else like ... I dunno, burly maple, callery pear with a bit of odd figure, maybe ... anyway, let me know. Maybe something will work out and I won't have to throw it all in the burn pile.
