So about a year and a half ago I bought my hubby a LOT of Koa, as well as Monkey Pod, Purple Heart, etc. Well, we STILL need it milled. I am sure someone knows someone who would be willing to help me get it milled so it can FINALLY be used. I'd be open to trade or paying, either way. We live in KCMO and it would be amazing if someone knows someone with a mobile mill... BUT, I would also be willing to bring it to a WB Dude IF they have a mill (road trip).
As we all know, if you need a job done, make your wife do it.... ;)

Wow... if I posted this here I would get a lecture about where posts should go from the first mod that came upon it like @Schroedc but if a purdy girl posts up a mountain of koa it somehow makes you dorks forget all the rules. Colin you should be ashamed of yourselve.

@Mike1950 you sir simply offer solutions and for that I thank you.

@Tclem you hush up and let Paxton show you how a turkey pot and hair sticks work...

@Maya Ratcliff you need to be careful posting wood around these guys, it's like showing cake to the fat kids...

@ripjack13 can I get a ruling here please?

Well Duh Don, She is quite a bit prettier that you are.... Also- do you really want to taunt a nice guy with a portable mill that might use this as an excuse for a road trip????

Plan a milling weekend in KC on April 29 and 30? I'll be there already and would enjoy watching and helping!

I so wish that would work but that is the weekend of the local studio tour so I'll be in the shop doing demos and trying to sell the stuff I make....

I don't believe you would ever leave Canada to help an islander out so I'm safe... :saw:

It's only 400 miles, and for a percentage I'd mill it all for you. I'm serious (I know you don't expect it of a crazy Minnesootan but we do occasionally be nice. Where did you think the phrase "Minnesota Nice" came form?)

I guess I'll leave it up to the boss but the term "percentage" makes me nervous when undefined... :scare3:

From what I've read 20% is what a lot of Sawyers work for. That's just what I've seen though, maybe way off or a local thing. Tony
