    Very nice, what are the woods? Only done one cutting board so far, an endgrain also. Lot of work but worth it.

    Nice board, but a word of caution about glueing up long grain and end grain. The two will move at different rates and that could result in cracking.

    I made this for my daughter and found that out the hard way. The maple strips on the four corners were added later to compensate for the movement of the long grain....
