NICE stuff, Greg! Even with the sealer, you can seen some very nice grain in them. Not getting in line for any, but I'll be looking forward to seeing pics of some of this turned and showing off what's currently hidden!

i held off as long as i could hoping the pieces i was interested in would sell. i am interested in 24,10 and/or 3 if they are solid and available. Let me know. Also do you have any natural edge walnut bowl blanks left?
Jay #3 is still waiting on @bobhasen he has dibs currently on that one but hasn't made any commitments one way or the other. #'s 24 and 10 are open and pictured above.

Jay here is the natural edge walnut I have pix of with me today. There may be a few other smaller ones as well but not pix of those ones with me. The size on this one is roughly 10x10x6.

Let me know what other walnut you have. I am interested in #24. How much is the walnut above?

After everyone else is served, I'd like to get pics for and call dibs on #6, 11, 14, and 20.
Here are the pix of the pieces you requested. 6&11 have some soft spots that show up in the pic as a whiteish color. The soft spots don't go very deep and don't appear to reach beyond the plain grain area. #20 has a little ant activity but that doesn't appear to be more than 2 spots.

Ok did some milling of call blanks this eve plus a hollow form blank. I used # 26 to do this so that piece is no longer available.

The hollow form blank measures 9x8x8
# 27 is 2x2x5
#28 &29 is 2x2x6.5
#30 is 2x2x6
31-38 are each 1.625x1.625x12
39-43 are 4.25x4.25x1.25
Some notes on these pieces the 2 x 2 blanks came from the cap area of the burl. Same with the HF piece. In the case of the HF piece you can see some of the bark still. I hand planed one surface and it exposed several eye clusters and some good curly figure. The 1.625x12 pieces were the next pieces behind the HF they have some good figure and color but only a few eyes is all 8 pieces. There are several of these with very little figure but a good variety of colors. The pot calls came from the last chunk and only 2 of them have noticeable figure. I am gonna keep the HF and try to turn it over the weekend the rest of the stuff is up for grabs. Let Me Know If You have questions.

Ok 1 more round of pix. Another note on the pix. When they are pulled up on a computer monitor you can likely see some fuzzy areas on the pieces. Those are figured areas. Just as other species can give you fits in figured areas so can willow. When willow dries the fuzzy effect will improve greatly and behave similar to other figured species. Until then expect the fuzzy effect

I roughed out this hollow form piece last night to give you guys an idea of what can be found inside these burls. I was hoping it would be bigger but there was a bark inclusion that ran pretty deep. Over all it is 7" tall and 6" in diameter. After I was done I weighed it at 2 lbs 11.5 oz. I waxed it inside and out and stuffed it in a box with some shavings. Willow dries fast and fairly easy. I would expect to be able to finish turn this piece in 3-5 weeks.
This piece really represents everything I felt the burl would have. There is one cluster of eyes in the white area. The rest has good curl to it along with an array of colors.

I think that should finish out somewhat like marble... I've have some do just that.

Do you have anything around 13-15 diameter and 4-5 thick?

#'s 10&11 are the closest I have to that size. 10 is up for grabs 11 @ChrisN currently has dibs on. If he passes you would be next. The exact sizes are in my post on page 2 of the thread. I have pix of both pieces in the thread as well but I can't see the post#'s otherwise I would direct you to them. Each piece pictured has a # written on it. There are 3 pix of each piece. Let me know if you have any questions.

Just an update in general on this thread #15 is sold and #26 I cut up into the call blanks pictured above. The hollow form I turned also came from #26
