I'm not really turning wine bottle stoppers anymore, so it's time to clear out the extra blanks on hand.

Everything in here is dry and ready to turn. Will go in a MFRB and I'll find something else to help fill out the box with. $45 shipped in the US. That's about $2/each shipped and doesn't factor in whatever is extra that will be in the box.

    Box includes the following species:
    Osage Orange
    Oak
    Sycamore
    Indian Rosewood
    Holly
    Camphor
    Ziricote
    Goncalo Alves
    Spalted Cherry
    Cherry
Spalted Apple (both stabilized & dyed orange)
    Russian Olive

Ain't that the truth! I like the ones from EZPots - you can get solid stainless steel at a reasonable price from them. I started with the Ruth Niles stoppers and like them, but the price was more than I could really afford to use, especially since most of the stoppers I've made have been given away as gifts. While the EZPots ones are not made in the US, they are of high quality (and are polished, unlike the Niles ones) and I have had no issues with them. I like them just as much, if not more, than the Niles stoppers.

Are they self tapping like Ruth's?

Ruth's stoppers aren't self tapping. Her mandrel is, but the stoppers are just threaded normal. The EZPots ones are threaded the same as Ruth's. So if you have Ruth's self tapping mandrel for turning stoppers, you can use that still - no need to get a new one. I have one of Ruth's mandrels and really like it.

I didn't even have to tag @Tony this time. Just had to kind of dangle the hook and let him bite it! And to claim it 3 minutes after I posted the price drop! :lol2:
