    And here is a pic of the vase style for ripjack13 (though I've still got to make his).

    @ripjack13 If you have a preference for the normal vase versus the amphora shape let me know. I don't hollow the amphoras since the neck is soo narrow. the vases are about 75% hollowed.

    The lower did show up, I picked it up from the mailbox yesterday, but I hadn't checked mail in a few days so it may have been there a day or two.

    I'm a little slow on my end, I was finishing a side job when the lady asked for a set of wall mounted shelves to go with the cabinets I had already done, so I knocked those out and finished up on Wednesday. I've got the vase blank chucked and roughed, so it'll be done this weekend and headed your way.

    I'm glad you like it. There are some semi-reliable color patterns based on the dominant grain direction changes on the vase, but the rest is all just sort of random effects you don't see until you start with the dye process. The patterns around the limb knothole were a pleasant surprise.

    The finish is maybe 8 or 9 coats of Arm-R-Seal with a Lacquer finish coat.
