Brian asked for some interesting wood that is not your typical American hardwoods. He plans to make small picture frames. I picked out a few pieces this morning that should be good for that. The two photos below show the front and back of each piece. The virgin growth longleaf pine is perfectly quarter sawn as you can see. There are some nail holes from the barn use it saw over the last 200 years. This wood came from trees growing in the 1400s.
Total for this lot is $78 plus $21 for shipping by UPS flat rate economy.
