Looking for a Carter or Simple hollowing system. Doesn't have to have the sight laser. Let me know what you'd be willing to part with and price.

How big a lathe? I've got a smaller D bar system that would probably work on midi lathes up to maybe 16 inch swing

If Chris passes on the D bar I may be interested.

I have a 12" lathe. But, I have yet to see a D bar system and a Google search didn't result in anything. Wouldnt have pictures by chance?

You got enough bed length for a system?

I think if you look up Jameson hollower it'll give you an idea, this one would be perfect for you I ran it on a Rockwell 12 or 14 inch by 40, I'll try to dig it out tonight

Thanks @Schroedc! Looks like that may do the trick if the price is right. Let me know your price.

Not enough bed length was an easy problem to overcome!

Looks like the one Sprung posted for the basic idea. I have the handle and the capture bar and the post. It'll take a midi size EWT bar or you'd have to have some bars made for it. I should be able to find it tonight. I shortened the post to make it fit my lathe but I do have the section removed so you could make it fit a lathe up to about 20 inches IIRC.

@Chris Geeo finally got it out for pictures. I shortened the base for the capture bar to fit a 12 inch lathe but do have the section to add back in if you went up to an 18 or 20 inch lathe. (It had been used on a powermatic 35-20 before I got it)

I'll do 100 shipped for it if it'll work for you, I can link to bars that fit it or can give the dimensions you'll need to have someone like @woodtickgreg make them for you.

Man, that's a big boy! How wide is the rear support frame?
Also, @woodtickgreg how much would you charge for a couple carbide ready bars?

Well dang, that's a bit big for my space. Might have to shorten it a little. But, I'll take it!

    Now just waiting on @woodtickgreg
