Unfortunately, the "rhododendron" I had mentioned this spring turned into a regular azalea and their root system is basically not a thing. I dont know how a plant that large can grow on that little root system! So currently I have no great exotic beyond a section of honeysuckle bush ,a heavily cracked redbud, a 6/4 slice of dogwood, and a odd semi dry chunk of bradford pear.
The most exotic thing I have is probably an ABW spindle that came out of your other trade...
Any how. Them sure are beauties. I have a desert iron wood carving collection and I am not certain it hasn't started a DIW Acquisition Syndrome.

Bristlecone pine? Really?
If there is any left, I would be very interested in it. I have been searching for that stuff for years! Didn't know it was out there. Should have asked...
Thank you.

Thank you.

Those are some amazingly cool looking trees. I've never seen any available anywhere

i found a smaller sized stump in the burn pile on mount charleston, fire crews cutting dead ponderosa pine and creating fire breaks must have taken this one out. at it's small size appeared kind of like any uprooted pine stump from a distance, but up close the crazy swirling growth habit was very evident. i slabbed it into 1 and 2 inch slabs on my sawmill

Beautiful stuff!
If ever you decide to part with some of that stash, I hope you'll let me know.
I now return this thread to its regularly-scheduled intentions.
Thank you.

Hi Trev @vegas urban lumber
If they're at least 4" long, and 3/4" around or bigger, that would be great. I make small things, but not into castings.
I would greatly appreciate even longer / bigger pieces if they're available. Post a photo?

Is there anything you might want in trade?
If not, selling outright is fine with me.
Thanks!
