Can these be sliced and made into pen blanks that are ¾ square by at least 5 long? I would be interested in them if someone who makes pens wants to partner with me. Very nice colors. Pen makers, let's PM.

They sure can. I think a few you might only get two pen blanks from. But one or two might get 4. I’ll measure today.

Dumb question I know to those who stabilize, but does the wood color change from the surface to the middle of the blank. In other words, will be pen colors be uniform when they are sliced? I've never worked with stabilized wood.

Not a dumb question. Ideally, if I did my job right, the color should go all the way through. You never know what they are going to look like for sure. But they should have color.

If you decide you want these I can cut them into pen blanks before shipping and make sure they have color. If any don’t turn out, we can reduce the price to only the ones you like.

Wow, you make this deal easy. Please do slice them to be at least ¾ square by 5 long. We will do the deal. I'll send you a PM to exchange private information. Well worth what you are asking.

@FranklinWorkshops knife blocks have now been turned into pen blanks. I wasn’t able to get 4 from an of them at 5/8” square so there was some waste. I added a couple others.

Let’s go $7 each plus shipping. I’ll make sure the box is full.

Colors and figure look better in person IMHO

    Let me know!

Payment has been sent. They look great. Now I need to barter some of them to pen makers in return for three of them being made into pens for me. Is anyone interested?

You'll be waiting awhile Larry. Stoopid Islander doesn't typically roll out of bed until about noon.
