Since I bought a deep hollowing jig I wanted to put some light inside what I'll be working on and swmbo said I have blown my tool budget for a while so what to do when a decent gooseneck work light is almost 100 bucks. You build one...

I had an old light fixture at work with a mini candelabra base to start with and bought a hot water heater connector and a 65lb. Magnetic from home depot and some 960 lumen led from Amazon. A little rewiring and poof, a shop made gooseneck work light for my lathe that doesn't fall down.

Do you guys have IKEA on the islands? They have some good, cheap clamp on gooseneck lamps I like for the shop with LED bulbs.

Copper, brass, and bronze on the same fixture?! The color scheme just doesn’t work for me...:sarcastic::pieface:
