This month’s club challenge was a lidded box, so when I got time to do things (really busy in clinic, etc),improvisation was in order.
I have a few “in progress” works that I’d set aside because I got to a point of needing another tool or developing the skill to finish it—- I’m sure all y’all have that “problem” too.
Had this nice bowl that I was going make footed and carve some—thought it’d be ok. Had another piece that I fashioned into a lid, that ended up having big grub tunnels. Filled those & they’re ok.
It’s 7 “ at the widest and nearly 7” tall. Finish is poly.
Grains kinda match.

Nicely done! Those club challenges can be fun and force us out of our comfort zones.
