If you are a woodworker, you definitely need one of these if you don’t have one already- it will take the guess work out if you are trying to determine the moisture content of said lumber you are purchasing or if you are getting ready to work on a wood project to make sure the moisture content is at acceptable level.

I purchased this pin type moisture meter originally as a back up for my Wagner & Delmhorst pinless typed. I used this once to get a reading on a mahogany slab and then I put it away in my drawer and removed the battery (and completely forgot about it). The instruction manual was loose inside the drawer and got banged up- so it has creases. The pins has some slight surface rust and vinyl case cover has a slight vertical crease (victim of the drawer). The second time I used this was early last week just to test it on a piece of cherry burl. It is in functional and in working condition- it is accurate and I have the pinless Wagner give the same reading at 8% as you can see on the photo. So technically this was used 2x. This was never dropped and well cared for. Save a good amount of money for a barely used unit that is made in the 🇺🇸.The battery is not included as the battery used came from my Wagner.

Price is $ 65 shipped via priority mail to the 50 states. *See post #6 for price revision.

@Mike Hill gets 1st offer of refusal and then it is off to the races……...

Trade for some figured lumber?

Blistered hard maple, or pommel sapele, or wide figured curly maple?

How about $ 55 shipped via priority mail to the 50 states? It would be a nice present under the tree or whatever. :sarcastic:
