I've got an FB poll going to see which orientation this vase needs to continue in. Join the conversation and let me know what you think!

I prefer the A.....form..model....with the bulb at the bottom of the vase
is the more refined and pleasing form. Imho

but I also would dye the white segmnts . A walnut color and add a dark bead at the top rim......

Thats one of the rewards of
This forum......you always get more than you paid for....
And opinions are like.......we all have one....

I think either would be fine, both look good. I would choose A mostly because I think it looks slightly better with the stripe variation on the bottom. Be sure and show us the final product either way! Tony

I prefer “B” would be more of a vase shape.

I think there is a subliminal message since A is posted twice.

Brad, if you are married, you'd better get you wife's opinion. You know that most always have the last say in any matter. I would do it the "A" way. With a narrow neck and wider bottom, putting in a bunch of long stem flowers would bunch them together. The wider opening would allow the flowers to spread and have more of a chance to have voids in the arrangement. ........... Jerry (in Tucson)

I prefer A because I like forms that taper in near the bottom... B would flare outward at the bottom.

Thanks for the input! I've got a small slab of figured Walnut that I'm going to add to one end, and possibly some maple to the other...or Walnut on both...Haven't made up my mind on that just yet, either.

I’ll say B—- anyone can make one with the bottom bigger.

Got it finish turned, oiled, and then buffed out today. I'm really happy with how this turned out. Obviously the A's won the vote, but I still want to try the other orientation in the future (which was my original intent).

I can't wait to make more, but for now - Enjoy!
