Hey guys,

I am looking for someone to stabilize some english walnut blanks i got. Anyone do this, how much will it cost?

They are turkey blanks, since i make turkey calls.

This wood is bone dry and very light.

how much will it cost. I have 9 blanks

Hey Jon, i know you are super busy with all that happened to your son and him coming home soon. You should be getting the 2 i sent this week anytime soon. My question is this. I just got 2 beautiful spalted pieces from OregonBurl and i thought i could turn them without stabilizing but not gonna happen. I have already drilled holes. Can these be stabilized and if so, do you have the time to do so.

Banks sent today, thank you again sir. You should be recieving the other 2 english walnut ones anytime. not sure they will work or not.

I had a bunch of that english walnjut stabalized last year and it stabalized very well. Just gets a little darker and the grain don't pop as much then.
Still very pretty stuff.
