Well if you stopped in Lake City, like you said you were going too, you had phone and internet service! That's why I posted it!! Didn't figure it would do any good to text you while you were up there running around the hills.

Oh... And, I did stop for breakfast, same waitress serving breakfast that was there 5 -6 years ago when I stopped, and she was several years past 25 then. Still wearing the same uniform although maybe a size or two larger! But she did remember me, and asked where I'd been!!

It'll just stink up your shop Eric; makes it smell hospital! I'll save you and take it off his hands again when he stops in Lake City.

You gave me a small piece or two, and the whole shop smells like camphor when you walk in now.

They get all the good listings down in the middle of the state. Lots of old retirees down there upgrading to newer machines, estate sales, and such. I've got one up here keeps tempting me, Grizzly Mini-Lathe, but it's MT 1 taper...

The one I posted for Lou above, would make a good back up lathe, buffing machine, etc. Don't sell your lathe yet Lou!! While it is variable speed, the bed looks awful light on that one, and the head doesn't turn.

Looking at the pictures closer, it may not have been used a lot, but it looks like it might have been stored for a long time, showing a lot of dust, and some light rust on the bed and headstock. If it had a gear shift I might be interested enough to drive down there, but I'm spoiled;I ain't changing no belt back and forth.

Were it me Rock I would offer $250. For that cheap I would think you could change a belt every once in awhile! It's been up a month. Tony
