Hi Guys, for sale.......two lots of redwood burl pen blanks to choose from.

Old growth redwood lace burl pen blanks. Very nice blanks. They came from Humboldt County, California near Falk, a historic little logging town and lumber mill created in the early days of redwood logging. Google..... Falk, historic logging town ........and see some interesting history of these blanks. Five pieces, measurements in the misted pics. BTW, they are natural....not stabilized. RP37, $24.00 + $5.00 to ship = $29.00 total.

    On color as well.

I tried to do color correction on one of those pics to get it back to some semblance of reality but couldn't even get close. Somehow you got it WAY WAY over saturated, but even greatly reducing the saturation didn't do the trick.

Also I tried to get rid of the small pics and the duplication in your post but I keep not being able to do that (EDIT: finally did it)

Hey Paul.......I dunno about the saturation. Pics outside in the sun. I didn't do any "editing" to try to make 'em look better.

Oh, I wasn't suggesting that you edited them and did that but rather that the camera setting caused over saturation. I should have been clear about that but wasn't. Sorry.

Well, nuts. That has to be due to my trying to get rid of the small pics and the duplication. I still see them, though. Don't know why you wouldn't since I didn't do anything to the large pics, including RP36.

Dang, and I got all excited about bowl blanks until I saw the enlarged images. And yes, my eyes kind of glazed over after reading "Old growth redwood lace burl..." so I missed the whole "pen blanks." part. :ohno:

All good Paul.....no problems here. My screw up trying to get those pics separated to go with each paragraph. Although I don't know where the first RP36 paragraph went. ; ) Like I said....got some "learnin" to do. Thanks for your help.

Ah nuts. I apologize. When I was trying to delete the small pics, I deleted your text on RP36, thinking it was a duplicate to the previous paragraph. So I managed to delete the text but I never seem to be able to get rid of images. I "delete" them in my edit but they still are present.

AH HA. This time I was successful in removing the small pics, so @rockb now at least your pics are consistent. Sorry again about the deleted text.

Ok, had to take something for motion sickness, single malt, after navigating the string above. Am I correct in thinking RP 37 is available? If so, I would like to add them to my supply stock. :coffee2:
