Danny H requested these blanks so he has first shot at them. Prices and sizes are written on blanks.
Very nice looking!!!
Very nice indeed! If he doesn't want them, I'll take E1 through K1.
You got it Barb... If Danny passes on them they're yours. I'm going to give him a couple days because although I haven't heard from him within the "allotted" time, to be fair, he asked for them a few weeks ago and I only just got around to cutting them out for him. I just want to make sure he gets a chance to see the thread.
No problem at all. I can wait. They're sweet pieces so I'd be surprised if he passed on them. :)
Joel, if you have any more stuff like E1 F1, I would be interested.
Neil, what is your minimum blank size and/or your ideal blank size?
1 1/2 square - 5 t0 6" long will work. But could be as short as 4" if something interesting.
I haven't heard anything from Danny so, E1 through K1 are all yours. I'll PM you.
Sounds good. I'll pay you once I get off work. :)
I received your payment... thanks Barb. I'll send them out tomorrow.
ok Neil, I cut some blanks up for you. Also, A,B,C & D listed previously are still available.
The new ones I cut are all 1.5" x 1.5" and lengths from left to right in the pictures are 6.25", 5.75" , 8.625", 9.25", 12" & 13".
The first one has a couple very small cracks, the 2nd small one is virtually flawless, the 3rd has a live edge one side that is very shallow and would get turned off completely , 4th and 5th are self explanatory from the pics (couple cracks in #5), #6 is very clear, no cracks and has curl in the grain on all sides.
Prices also left to right are $12, $12, $14, $14, $18, $22
I got my gorgeous pieces yesterday.
I have Redstem ceanothus, Ceanothus sanguineus, with defects in my collection of reference samples. That is the only sample of the genus I have. I would love to add to that list. My samples finish at 3" wide x 6" long x 1/2 inch thick. I like to have a flat sawn and 1/4 sawn sample to show the different details.
Not sure which one you have, California ceanothus is usually C. arboreus and C. thyrsiflorus, but could be others. It is pretty important to me to have the correct ID. And I'm also interested in grain variations too, including burl.
price for J & K?
I will take 5 and 6 from the new pics. Can you do me a favor and cut them approx in half for shipping. My girl in the CA office gets cranky to pack up long pcs.
Will PM you shipping to 92122.
Sure thing Neil. I'll PM you my paypal
Mark, I'll work on that and get back to you.
sorry those sold earlier in the thread to Barb.
what is b and c?
