I am looking to make a taller fence on my router table, approx 10" high. I will be using a lock miter bit and need the extra support up top.
Instead of using wood/plywood with laminate or melamine, I am contemplating using 1/2 HDPE bolted directly onto the aluminum fence angle.
I am thinking the material would slide easier, it shouldn't warp and should last forever.
Any reason this might be a bad idea?
Thanks,
Robert
