@Barb - I can’t wait to see what you do with this kolohala, but I know from your posting creations, it will be spectacular with your creative mind and experienced hands. They do make spectacular bowls/umeke’s :wink: and you will find how reflective the grain strands are, almost metallic especially when there is a separation from dark chocolate to brown hue’s. The quality and the darker color of the koa as well as density is the old growth quality.

I was fortunate enough through @rob3232 (:thanx2:) generosity able to sample what is coming your way- you will not be disappointed.
