Finished a few today. Red/blue is the most popular dyed seller, introducing two hues of blue with the next batch, like this one.

Neat looking lamps! While maple is always great and that blue is wonderful, that locust really jumps out at me. Don't know what you'd call that color, but I really like it, maybe a red bronze? I assume the ash has the same colors applied, but the purple bands are a little too prominent for my preference.

The locust and ash are the same process, the natural green color of locust reacts with the red and blue to dilute the contrast compared to no green influence of the ash. The ash reflects more light giving a greater color change effect. Just getting started with blues and have a few ideas for the next one.

Dark blue sanded back, light blue, burnish and sealed. No flip flop but like the curly contrast.

Agree with Tim @trc65 with that “copper” satin sheen really is captivating, but that dyed ash with the purple and the gold gradient with the purple outlining the grain pores has that “je ne sais quoi”. Those 2 plus that tafetta violet you did awhile back is a perfect trio and a “trifecta”. Would have liked to see 3 of them together.
