Just finished this set made of American Holly (often mistaken for ivory). Made these for the full size 1911 frame. Just mounted 'em on this 10mm beast 'cause it's a purtty gun. Hurts to shoot it though!

like some holly. I have an adze with a holly handle. Neighbor pulled the tree and it wasn't big enough to saw into boards. And my adze head was whining for a handle so...
