At what point when offering wood for sale. Is the price to be up and out for all to see?????

Or does it matter?

Anything in the "Wood Central" area should have the prices listed.
Anywhere else is not required, but certainly suggested to keep the confusion to a minimum....

I'll second the comment above from @Mlyle
Several posts @ Wood Central have arisen in recent weeks/months with reference to individual pieces for sale and no mention of price, even when specifically asked publicly. Then, there is mention of a deal worked out in PM with no mention of price, case closed.

I think we would all agree that a sweetheart deal among willing participants is completely fine.
I also believe we would all like to know how deals unfold for many reasons, not the least of which is the Rules we agree to follow by logging on in the first place.
What's the counter-argument here or exception to The Rules? Please enlighten me. Thank you.

Some people (myself included) have forgotten to put the price in and usually are told that there's no price. Some people have often overlooked someone asking a price. Maybe like you overlooked his reply to your question. If you are interested in a piece but there's no price, say "I'm interested depending on price" so the seller knows you are in line not just wondering what the price is.

My main concern is the listings under the heading….
“Wood for Sale”. That do not list a price!!!!

So is it a set in stone rule that prices will be listed?
And “Bartering “ can begin from that point.
Or is it just taken for granted, or understood, or just
Suggested?

And where is that listed in the “WoodBarter“ rules?
I would like to know.

I would think. This is a question for our Moderators.
So please Moderators speak up anytime.

And yes I do believe most of the time prices
Are in and listed.
And we do…myself included have forgotten to add
The price to the listing.
But when a price is not listed and then I am ignored
When asking for price.
I gotta believe some collusion or funny bizness
Is going on especially when no price is listed
And I see a comment like “pm me” and of late I have seen that and no one question s it….

If you see that again, tag a mod or myself in the topic please, and we'll fix it.
