As kevin explained in the "how to post pics" thread, when you preview your post, you do NOT see the pics, just the "attach" statements.
We both find this frustrating, and have found a simple work-around.
What you do is, after composing your post, you save it as a draft and then click on "edit draft". NOW when you preview your post, the images show up even though the post has not yet been posted to the forum.
SO ... compose your post, including images, then do this:
[attachment=203]
Then do this:
[attachment=204]
Then do this:
[attachment=205]
and you'll see your pics and you can do further editing if you like.
When you're all set, do this:
[attachment=206]
