Just finished this set made of Claro Walnut for a local client, and competitive shooter. He wanted to replace the thin rubber grips that came on it, with something more appealing and functional. It's a different type of pistol, but with a grip frame that's the same size and configuration as the 1911. WOW!

Grips are impressive, as always.

But my real question is did you get to test fire that one to ensure the grips functioned properly? I’d have told my customer that was mandatory for quality control purposes!

Thank you Steve. No, he did that out of the shop door and killed a squirrel 30 yards away, before he paid me. LOL!
