My BIL and I were working on a couple projects while his wife and mine were doing their thing. He brought along a 120mm casing to polish up as a cane stand, barely fit on my lathe, the casing is 33” long!!
We also made a display of other ammo, the little 9mm in front just for size reference. He’s going to put another coin on right side and a plate with info between.

I have some 105mm canisters around someplace. We used to cut them down for ashtrays. But I don’t smoke so they are still whole.

I don’t have a pic but we also cut the base off one about that size (105 mm). Kind of a wonky cut using my old metal bandsaw but I was barely able to chuck it up and clean up the cut using my 6mm carbide tool. He’s gonna make a clock with it.
