I have a nice blank of Sindora burl I’d like to have stabilized. I found several businesses that do it online. Do they normally just do individual blanks for people? Is there a business or individual that can be recommended?

K&G is generally thought to do a really good job. I haven't used them, but I have made fly rod seat inserts from blanks they stabilized. And the blanks seemed to be fully stabilized.

I contacted Mike and he is still doing some casting, but has slowed down on taking orders for now due to other life duties that have to take precedent for now. Sorry to pass this on as he did fantastic work.
Hopefully we will see him back at it someday. !!!
