I see a lot of ways we artists sign our work.
Bowls are traditionally signed on the bottom. Actually most woodworking is signed on the bottom’s. Branding with a
Hot poker, signature with unwashable ink. Etc.
And lately I have seen the coins or round
Brand placed in the middle of the bottom which looks pretty nice to me especially when it is original and catches the eye and is done in super good taste.
This brings me to my point and question
Where can i get my own type brand in the form of a coin or whatever the material for my own brand?
Without buying a branding iron and/ or making my own branding iron.
I know what i want my brand to be!!!
But Im just not getting good at using
The little wood burning set. I am old and a bit shaky and have not mastered the old English or Elizabethan style of penmanship
Enough to put some sloppy mark on my
Masterpiece of artwork.
Where can i have the coin style or little milkcap style of a brand medium.
Who makes them and how? Are they done with digital printing? As I suspect?
Any responses will be entertained!
thnks
