Drove by these today and the very white wood caught my eye. Stopped on the way back and spoke with the home owner but they didn’t know what it was, said take it all. Grabbed a few bigger ones for the wood pile. Any idea what it is, my guess is lilac, to early for foliage here in NH. Thanks.

Remember Brian @bhatleberg was recently looking for lilac, if this is lilac it’s the motherload, drive on up Brian.

Thanks Mark And Eric. Seems heavy for its size but it is fresh cut, dried BE I've worked in the past was light and soft, wouldn’t have guessed it. The Town is cutting the power lines clear and there are wood piles everywhere. They chip the branches, cut the bigs into manageable pieces and leave it stacked for a while so people can take it for firewood. Another Town crew will pick up what’s left in a few weeks, benefits of living in a very small town.
