Yard work got rained out today, so I got some time to finish some new pens:
1. Jr. George rollerball pen with Oak from the Durham Cathedral in England. This was the site of filming scenes in and out of Hogwarts from several Harry Potter movies including: The Sorcerer's Stone, The Chamber of Secrets and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
2. My father made an oak gun cabinet for my brother about 20 years ago. I found a special template my Dad made for the door to hold the glass. I made a Sierra pen with crosscut oak from that template for my nephew. He was very close to my Dad. I will also make a Sierra pen for my oldest son and a Bolt Action pen for my brother.
3. A customer requested a Sierra pen and letter opener made from wood that came from a sycamore tree at his grandparent's house when he was growing up.
