The Viper guitar strikes.....

    My apologies; this one is kinda picture heavy. Yea, I'm still alive and still carving; I recently started to live stream my work and I've found that to be kinda inspirational to get up off my butt and DO SOMETHING.
    This is a semi time lapse of me carving this guitar body.
    This Sure wish I knew for sure what kind of wood this is, but it carved SO very nicely. This is also one of those cases where I'm actually happy I listened to the voices in my head that insisted that I carve individual scales into this beast....took forever, but it sure works! Also chose to use oil paints later on because my original plan of woodburning the details in just didn't work.

    I think Ozzy would have loved this bad boy in his younger days. But he would of probably just stapled a real snake to the guitar body! Anyway this is totally cool, what a huge amount of work and detail.
