First up, a friend needed a heavier grate for his fire pit
Next, Moma got a new car, and it needed a package shelf.
And, since my company cancelled company trucks, I got Momas old Chevy. And it promptly broke a ball stud and dropped the tailgate on my head.
Too much $ for a new mounting plate, and the only ball studs I could find were made of zinc. So I turned a new one from a bolt.
You have been busy! Really practical stuff! Chuck
Probably the only stud in that house
The walls are full of them,
In SE Ohio we would have just used the stick, but would have painted it to match the car.
Your just pretty handy there. And creative.
Nicely done, sir!
I like the ball joint fix. I may have to keep that in mind when Michele's jeeps thingee goes too. It's looking pretty rusty now....
Oil it before it’s an issue
Picture of a handy man. Wish you were my neighbor. Nice work.
