Umeke inspired bowl

Just finished an umeke-inspired bowl from a piece of spalted maple from @JD1137. 4x 9 1/2”. Finished with Watco clear and then waxed. I left the 3 worm holes in the bottom and made a simple concave area to prevent rocking. Some views don’t highlight that the top tapers inward from the widest point at the sides.
Always open to creative suggestions and constructive criticisms.

Beautiful piece of wood and even nicer form! Don't know the definition of a umeke, but yours has very pleasing lines.
