They will be coming very soon! I took a short break on the project because after about 5 months I was starting to get burned out so I needed to deviate and get a couple of other things done. Hopefully this weekend I'll have some more updates!

Well this is a pretty minor update today but I was just setting up a jig to be able to make the double 45 degree angles in the corners. I had a t-track here so I used that on the slot for our big belt sander. Got the 45 lined up and tuned just right to make sure the angle was perfect and then did a test piece with some plywood squares. The lines match up really well and I think it's going to work great for my box. Looking forward to finishing up the edge banding slots and getting started with the last portion of this box.

Hey guys, so I figured I would come on here to give a little update. This box hasn't been perpetually discontinued I have just been insanely busy with my last semester finishing my degree at NC State and haven't had much time to be on the site or work on my box. Good news however is that I do have a full time job working at duke energy in Charlotte starting June 1st which I am really happy for. Hopefully I'll get some time to work on this project sooner rather than later!

Congrats on the new job Matt. Thats the good thing thing about woodworking - you can pick up right where you left off no matter how long it's been.

Oh no it's fine! I really do want to finish but it's hard without a shop with all the tools I need, it'll just take time. But, on good news, I'm engaged to the lovely girl I was making this box for!!! So i'm incredibly excited about that and all the stuff to go along with it.
